Hello everyone
My name is Marie-Luise, I’m 28 years old and I’m from Germany. I’m currently travelling through South America to get to know the culture and people better, and I think that Workaway is a great way to do that.
Back home, I work as a social worker and psychologist. I enjoy being around people and learning from them. That’s probably why I do this job :)

I’ve also lived in England and Spain for several years, so I speak both languages. I sometimes struggle to find the right words in Spanish, but people always understand me!

I’m actually someone who feels most at home in nature, which is why I want to spend as much time as possible outdoors during my trip, whether in the mountains, in the forest or by the sea.

In my spare time, I really enjoy hiking, climbing, discovering new places, cooking and doing yoga.

I’m looking forward to the time ahead!

Me llamo Marie-Luise, tengo 28 años y soy de Alemania. Actualmente estoy viajando por Sudamérica para conocer mejor la cultura y a la gente, y creo que Workaway es una opción estupenda para ello.
En mi país trabajo como trabajadora social y psicóloga. Me encanta estar con gente y aprender de ella. Por eso, supongo, también me gusta mi trabajo :)

También he vivido varios años en Inglaterra y España, así que hablo ambos idiomas. En español a veces todavía me faltan las palabras adecuadas, ¡pero siempre me entienden!

En realidad, soy una persona que se siente más a gusto en la naturaleza y, por eso, durante mi viaje también quiero estar en la naturaleza tanto como sea posible, ya sea en la montaña, en el bosque o junto al mar.

En mi tiempo libre me encanta hacer senderismo, escalar, descubrir nuevos lugares, cocinar y practicar yoga.

Tengo muchas ganas de que llegue ese momento!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Tengo mucha experiencia trabajando con todo tipo de personas. Trabajo en un centro psiquiátrico, donde es importante ser siempre flexible y encontrar soluciones.
He trabajado en restaurantes, en hoteles y también como au pair.
Además, durante mis estudios, colaboré con una empresa en el ámbito de las redes sociales.
Estoy en muy buena forma física, hago mucho deporte y me encantaría realizar trabajos más físicos.
