Description

Hello my name is Isaiah I am a nine-teen year old high school graduate. I live in Michigan right along the boarder of the United States and Canada in a city called Port Huron. I love being from Michigan because we get all four seasons, I love being in snow just as much as being in the water. I come from a family of four brothers, two parents, and our loving dog June. Being the second oldest I have been put into situations where I will need to watch over my little brothers at home. Weather that be making food for them to make sure they are fed, cleaning up the house, and making sure they are doing good. I do also drive my little brothers to their practices, to their friends houses, and sometimes will have to drive them to school. I do also have experience with animal care, we have a dog at home so I am always making sure our dog has been fed, been walked, and doesn't make the house a mess.We are a very busy, athletic, and faith filled family full of love. I grew up playing baseball and basketball all my life, and my senior year of high school I played soccer. In the past I have learned some important skills, such as learning how to use a drill I had to learn how to use one when I reconstructed my grandpa's camper with him. I learned how to use a circular saw in order to make even cuts for the batting cage in my backyard. I also have used a circular saw along with screws and drills when rebuilding our deck. I also have some experience with laying concrete, I helped out a family friend lay concrete on the side of their house. Also when I went to Brazil it was for a mission trip and our team built a house, I was part of the making and laying of cement. My mom and I have done some gardening in the past, we would grow Tomatoes in the summer. And in the summer months I cut grass at my house and once and a while my grandparents lawn also. In the fall at my grandparents I gather up all the leaves with the lawnmower and make leave piles for my brothers. Over the last three years my family and myself have done some traveling and been to very exciting places. As a family we have been to Detroit, Michigan countless times, Chicago, Illinois twice, and Mexico twice, Daytona Beach, Florida, New York City. Myself I have been to Italy, Colorado, Toronto, Canada and most recently Brazil. Going to each one of these places has given me the ability to adapt and grow in the situation I am in. For example going to New York City and Rome I had to use the train systems those cities provide. Going to Colorado I had used a car to get around and I also did a lot of hiking on trails in the mountains, being in Colorado made me realize where I was and where I was going at all times. Along with knowing where I am going, being in Mexico, Italy, and Brazil, those countries don't speak fluent English and so I had to learn some words in that native language to know where I was and where I was going. Going to Florida made me adapt to living with more people than just my family because there would be three families in a condo when we would go to Florida for spring break. Brazil also made me have to live with people outside of my family. Being able to travel has been something I have fallen in love with, being able to see new places and embrace new cultures is something I am always looking forward to.

I could help teach English because I am fluent in it. Languages that I am interested in learning more of are Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. I have the same amount of knowledge in Spanish and Italian. While in Portuguese I only know some words. I am also willing to learn French or German there aren't limits for other languages I want to learn.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up playing sports so following and sticking to the game plan is something that helps me in all I do. From playing sports I am a very organized, quick learning, and hard working. Some of the projects I have helped out in are laying concrete for family friends, helping my grandpa reconstruct his and my grandma's camper, and most recently when I went to Brazil for a mission trip, my team built a house for a family.
