Description

We are Irmak, 19 years old from Cyprus, and Marie, 19 years old from France. We met in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina while studying at United World College which is an international boarding school. Marie has just graduated from high school and Irmak is taking a break from her studies to both take a gap year to experience the world. Marie is very passionate about cooking and loves to spend time in the kitchen trying out new recipes and Irmak is really passionate about the entertainment industry and aspires to be a creative director. We both are very eager to learn about new cultures and experience life in different countries. Both of us are motivated, patient and devoted to what we do. We both love dogs and have one of our own and we are very kid friendly!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Marie is a native French speaker and fluent in English while Irmak is a native Turkish speaker, fluent in English and speaks A2 level conversational French. We are both willing to teach our native languages and we are open to learn new ones as well! Irmak is very interested in photography and is always up to do a photo shoot! Marie is a very good planner and is very careful with logistics. We have both done the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and have obtained bilingual degrees. Irmak has completed a year of International Sociology at Tilburg University and has worked as facilitator at a UWC Cyprus short course that focused on communities and communication. Marie has just graduated high school and she has experience in waitressing, accounting and she has just finished her summer job at the Hospital University of Geneva. We both have done babysitting for extended periods of time as well!

We love playing board games together, hanging out with friends and spending time outdoors in nature. Marie loves sports, specifically football, golf, skiing and snowboarding and Irmak plays tennis. We both love going to festivals, listening to music and finding out about new artists as well as watching both older and newer movies and television series.
