Description

We are Guido & Mary! From the moment we' ve met it was immediately clear that we share the same drive to explore the world and enthusiastic attitude towards nature, alternative ways to live and encounter new cultures. We believe the world is a magic sinchronic place, that we need to share a laugh with more people we can and even if sometimes we can be shy or scared we feel alive in taking the risk and put ourselves to the test.
Now, a little glimpse of who we are: Mariangela, after a double degree in languages and international communications, just came back from an amazing erasmus in Turkey where she taught italian to foreigners. She volunteered in ambulances, has a predisposition as caregiver, and is a wonderful babysitter. Guido is a fully creative artist: cartoonist, writer, board-game designer, musician and actor.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

MARIANGELA: I recently graduated in languages and international communication, I am an English and Italian teacher for foreigners, as well as an excellent babysitter! I am Sicilian, passionate about cooking and I enjoy preparing and experimenting with new recipes. During my university years, I worked in the social sector as a volunteer in ambulances and as a peer tutor for students with disabilities. I love yoga and I can teach the basics. I am very sociable and have also worked in the events industry. I have good public relations skills and have been part of a collective for several years as a co-organizer for set-up and reception. I like to take care of spaces, I have great attention to detail and clothing, and I am a creative nail artist!

GUIDO: I am a cartoonist, writer, board game designer, musician, and actor. I love manual labor (I have worked in theater as a stagehand and in carpentry), and I am a quick learner. I speak Italian, English, and some Spanish and French. I am creative and professional, with problem-solving and teamwork skills. I am a trainer in collective game creation workshops, I teach Ultimate Frisbee and eco-activism, and I perform in scientific comedy shows about the wonders of animals and the intelligence of plants. I love nature (and survival techniques), cycling, cinema, and I am passionate about shared reading and board games! I believe that playing with people is the best way to get to know them and share a laugh together.
