Hello, we are Niklas and Ida, a lovely couple from the Baltic Sea in Germany. This year, we've finished high school and want to go to New Zealand for a half year before we start studying at university. This stay will be our first longterm trip together. New Zealand's variety of landscape and cultures is the common reason why we decided to travel there. We cannot wait to see all of these in real life
Hi, I'm Ida. My whole life, I dreamed of seeing the world and meeting new people around the globe.
I am a very happy and positive person, who likes being in the nature. I love to explore my surrounding, nether by bike, car or by foot. In my home country I don't live far away from the Baltic Sea and I take every chance to swim in it. It means a lot to me living at such a beautiful place. Nonetheless, I really like the mountains, even if we don't have any around. This year, Niklas and I did our first hiking trip in the Alps over several days together. We were totally thrilled and would love to see the mountains in New Zealand.
My biggest passion is being with horses. In the first class in school I started with riding lessons. The last years I had the chance to learn a lot about Horsemanship and liberty work. A respectful handling with every animal is very important for me!
I am very creative and do painting, sowing, journaling and drawing with much fun.
That is also one of the reason why I want to become a teacher for the elementary school someday. I like being with children and it fascinates me, how they see the world.
Physical and mental health is very important for me. Since 2021, I live vegan and cook a lot with fresh vegetables and fruits. I like to try new recipes. In the last few years, I've also discovered yoga for myself.
Hello, I'm Niklas. My biggest aim from heart is becoming a doctor since I was a little 13 year old boy. Now, after graduating from high school, I wanted to try something new. I like meeting new people and traveling with my girlfriend to New Zealand seems to be the best and craziest decision I've ever made, because in the past I planned a formal way: studying directly after high school. I'm very excited to see a completely different state.
My biggest hobby is making sport. I love Triathlon and Calisthenics and try to beat myself every time. I'm a firefighter and lifeguard in private. I also love being in the nature and around animals. My family have a beautiful golden retriever at home and I love her so much.
I am a very friendly and lovely person who loves to offer help, especially by doing things around the house. I like building projects and handwork. I also live vegan since this year and I am open to learn new meals.
We are looking for hosts, where we can be ourselves and have a nice time together. It would be nice to learn from each other.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We both are emphatic people and are motivated to learn new abilities.
Additionally, we live in a rural area so we can work in the garden and help with building projects.
Niklas has experiences with computers and technical devices, Ida not that much. But she has very good cooking skills. We both are very reliable and do everything by heart. We grow up with young children in our families so our handling with children is very good.
For sure, we know how to keep the house clean.
Caring about animals is also not a problem for us. We already care about horses, chicken, fishes, dogs, cats and rabbits.
Niklas is very sporty and has good skills in volleyball, soccer and triathlon.
Ida does horseback riding for about 11 years, so she share her skills too.
We both jobbed in the gastronomy and already have some experience in this field.
