Description

Hi, we're Dan & Karin. A German/English couple, who have met while travelling and working in Canada. Which is what we've recently done in New Zealand. We're off to Vietnam now before heading back to Europe.
We love spending time outdoors, be it snowboarding, hiking, kayaking or simply going for walks.

Dan is learning German every day while Karin is trying to keep on top of her Spanish and just started learning Dutch and the basics in Vietnamese. We're both interested in learning and teaching.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Dan is a certified electrician but really doesn't shy away from any building projects from plastering, bricklaying and plumbing to tiling and roofing. He's done it all and loves becoming more knowledgeable about all of it. One of his favourite things is fault-finding and he is very persistent when it comes to finding a solution. He's recently discovered his love for gardening and growing his own food. Together we have transformed a piece of land into a cozy vegetable garden, using mainly recycled materials. Karin loves lending a helping hand in Dan's endeavors, while providing him with some nutritious plant-based food. Although she is a certified translator, she's spent most of her working years in hospitality at hotel and hostel front desks or the food and beverage department in multiple countries. We're both very passionate about travelling and animals and would love to gather more insights in caring for them as petsitters or at a sanctuary. We won't work on any farms where animals are seen as products as this does not align with our values.

Dan is into Formular One, snowboarding and cycling. Karin loves reading, cycling or going for walks. We both enjoy game nights and being outdoors. We don't smoke, don't drink alcohol and are not into partying.
