Hello world, I'm Davide, from southern Italy.

I graduated a few months ago in environmental sciences and decided to take a gap year to realize one of my oldest dreams before starting my master's degree, visiting South-East Asia, which I have dreamed of since I was in middle school.

I've been traveling quite a lot in Europe, but now I feel like I need to take the plunge and escape to the other side of the world to test myself and savor cultures and countries completely different from those I have always been used to.

I generally prefer to get away from the frenzy of the big cities to make the most of a country in rural areas in contact with nature, where I can hike and meet the real locals
I love nature and animals, but I don't just want to study them, I want to live of them.

Languages are one of my main passions, so I'm open to learn any language, or at least the basics, from the countries I'm going to visit. Idk if I'd be a good teacher, but I love to be in contact with people and if anyone is interested in italian I'd put all my soul in teaching it. English as well, even tho it's not my native language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My skills are mostly related to my field of studies, the natural world.

I feel I can be very helpful whether it comes to working in a garden or taking care of animals.
In general I really appreciate outdoor work, and if I am not able to do something I can learn very quickly, I am open to learn new skills related to this world and it is also one of the main reasons I am leaving.

I also have decent knowledge in photography and videomaking and indeed, I intend to make an environmentally themed documentary of my trip.

In the end, I'm able as well to relate to people and make them feel at ease, since I've volunteered in my city in a soup kitchen with less fortunate people.
I love to learn about others stories and background.

Aside from hiking and photography, I love reading, both books and comics, cinema (I'd like to realize nature documentaries) and music, I play drums and I'm open to play and learn any kind of percussions.
