Hello! I'm Holly from Devon, UK. I moved to NZ on a WHV last Sept as I wanted to explore this beautiful country, to meet new people and to try new experiences.

I have been working in a hostel in Wanaka from Nov-March and I'm now travelling around NZ for the next few months. I've also been volunteering at a native plant nursery in my spare time, so I'm really interested in gardening work, and generally being outside. I'd like to meet new people, see different parts of the country, and get involved with a variety of work. Ideally I'm looking for workaways for around a week at a time on the North island, but I'm happy to be flexible with dates and timings :)

Previously I've worked for an international organisation in the Netherlands organising events, and prior to moving here, I'd been working in learning and development so I'm passionate about connecting with people and sharing and developing my skills.

In addition to these, I have had a variety of jobs including customer service, cleaning, working with animals, hospitality and bar work, food production/cooking/baking.

I'm an active person and enjoy tramping, cold water swimming, running and yoga. I also love connecting with others, good food and generally being out in nature.

I'm a fast learner, have a good attitude to work and I've joined WorkAway to give me the opportunity to travel around NZ, and to meet new people from all walks of life.
