Description
I am a college student studying Environmental Science I have an adoration for nature and spending time outside exploring. I grew up in Chile and Peru where my family is from, this introduced me my love for learning about other cultures and exploring places. My friends describe me as someone who is always down for an adventure, empathetic, and easy to get along with.
I am new to workaway but I have friends who have participated in several programs and hearing about their adventures and things they learned inspired me to join, this is something right up my alley. I am lucky enough to have traveled a lot but this would be a new way for me to travel and learn about a new place.

I really want to improve on my Portuguese skills and I do believe one of the best ways to learn is through immersion. Similarly with Spanish I am fluent but don't speak it often here so to reimmerse myself in it would be amazing. This could be just conversing with others or even teaching/helping people with their own skills.

I am fluent in Spanish and intermediate in Portuguese.
Some of past projects I have taken part in include restoring a 1969 VW Beetle, a fair amount of woodworking, and have worked a lot with both kids and animals. I am a very go with the flow person and love learning new skills. I have worked in restaurants, retail stores, and even was a shift lead at a trampoline park. With my major I have developed a lot of lab and analytical skills

I love hiking and spending time outdoors as well as putting my hands to work. I am very passionate and when I start a new project I always put my best effort in. I love music both listening and playing, I'm intermediate at guitar and bass and know my way around a drum set. I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories and about their lives.
