Description

Hi, we are a little familie from Berlin, looking for a break from everyday life and from city life. We like to connect with people and with nature.
We love to travel and we are very keen to see New Zealand’s amazing landscapes. But traveling as a tourist only seems to us a little boring. We would love to get in contact with the people hwo live in the places we visti, (we like to do something usefull) and love to learn something about culture and new things in general. So working as volunteers seemed to be perfect – to get all of this in the relatively short time of 6 weeks of travel.
NZ seems to be quite expensive for our tight budget, so we would be glad to save some money too ;)

For Henrike and Eckhard it's been a while ;) since we used to be backpackers and volunteers - for example in Vietnam and Hong Kong. Then came studies and work. Henrike works as an occupational therapist with children and as an museum educator and as an video artist. Eckhard works as a nurse and an actor. Then came family life and we stayed in Europe to keep our ecological footprint low.
Now our son is grown up and we are looking for a little adventure with our 15 years old daughter Clara, hwo attends a high school and loves animals a lot. We all together like to work with our hands, doing all kinds of crafts. During our 3 month of travel, Clara will study independently for her school.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are creativ, like to decorate and paint. We like to build with wood. We are good organizers. We like to work with plants and animals - but don't have sooo much experience. We cant do simple electricity and plumer -repairing works, simple sewing work. Can lay tiles .
Clara has experience with horses and knows to ride.

We will travel without own car, so we wouksd need your help for a ride from the busstation.
Our spoken english level is between fluent and intermediate ;)
