Description
I'm Henriette from Denmark, 29 years. I quit my job in December 24' because I would regret if I didn't set myself free to explore the world by bike. So now I'm on my first bigger bike trip from Denmark to ... yeah, whereever the road takes me, perhaps Spain. It's also my first time travelling solo for so long, but I like trying new things and learn more about myself.
In Denmark I have been working as an social worker/project manager at a Café for people suffouring of homelessness and mental illness. I've also done a lot of volenteeing: being in Ghana to teach young people first aid, vollenteered at a upcycling workshop every week for three years in Aarhus, was head chef of the kitchen on a kids summer school etc.
I love meeting new people and explore other cultures and ways of living - that's actually the core of my journey and it's also why I hope to do a lot of workaway. Get to know others, help out, and having a good time ☺️
I'm a positive person, who respects others and loves to laugh!
And except my interest in meeting new people, I looooove to upcycle old thing into something useful, I love to build things, I love gardening, I like making food to others. I also love bouldering, and long hikes in nature. I like talking about psychology, filosofy, humans, nature, politics, everyday life, etc. I just like to connect with others and have a great time together.
