Hello everyone!
My name is Helene and a good friend told me about workaway because I was searching for something adventurous but senseful to do for a while
-and because I want to explore new places in this world, because my had is filled with so many colourful dreams and Ideas I wanna make come true, because I'm so excited about making new acquaintances and friendships with people who are as adventurous and curious as I am.....
But one by one: I'm naturally from Stuttgart(Germany) but moved to the south of Germany, to Allgäu after finishing school because I love to live in the mountains, go rock climbing and bouldering a lot, but also ski touring in winter an mountaineering in general...to make it short: to spend as much time outside as possible....That's that makes me happy
Living in and together with nature and in peace with our planet is a goal I want to achieve- for me and for all the others I'll meet on my journey and who want to share this beautiful experience and way of living.

I also love to make music! I play the saxophone but probably won't be able to carry it with me while working away...Music is an imortant part of my life, it brings me hope and power and a good mood -and all the good things music can give to you;). Expecially when I share it with others.

Now, in September 24, I started my journey and went by bike to Spain and France where I had some fantastic Workaway- and climbing-experiences (and lots of other great experiences too!! 😉). The winter, I'm spending home in Germany but now planning to hit the road with my bike again in June💪🚲💨☺️I'm pretty excited and curious for meeting you guys out there and all the new adventures to come!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

The languages I speek are german and english fluent and some french. As I wrote in my description, I play the saxophone and also have experience in playing on large stages, I can and like to play, speak and perform in front of many people.Last year, I was doing a FSJ,( free translation : volunteer social year;)) at the DAV ( deutscher Alpenverein) in Kempten, meaning I work in a climbing gym. There, I collected experiences in routesetting (lead climbing and bouldering) and in the gastro business. I lead some youth groups in the DAV and since about two years and teach and train them to climb, and I supervised and organized camps and trips for kids so I have organizing and leading skills and learned what it means to be responsible for others. I also have a Trainer C license in sport climbing and start on some competitions. In general, I have physical power and endurance from training a lot.
I kinda have a talent in drawing and creative designing, for excample I really enjoy designing cards for my friends when I have time:))
In my first trip, last year,by bike to France and Spain, I learned a Lot about how to be totally independent and autonomous and how to organize things when you're completetly on your own. But still, I'm a very social person, emotionally intelligent and Love to have people around me❤️
