Hello there, I'm Hélène !
I work as a medical doctor in Belgium but I'm taking a year off to learn about tropical medicine and travel to visit family in Brazil this year.
After some time with my families, I'd like to visit some other parts of this beautiful country and learn more about it.

I'm really curious, easy-going and can adapt easily to a lot of different settings.
I really enjoy having a good, deep chat about anything and learn about people but also having some quiet moment on a hike to enjoy nature.
Of course I still enjoy a good night having a beer or going for a dance.
I live as a city person for the moment because of residency but I'm looking for being more outside and enjoy some clean fresh air.

Finally, for me it's important to stay in places that are safe and inclusive for everybody.

My parents are Brazilian but I was born and raised in Belgium mainly speaking French. I've learned Portuguese at home but I do a lot of mistakes and my vocabulary is very poor, I really would like to train and learn more about it.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can be very enthusiastic and talkative but also calm and contemplative.
I have a good work ethic and like to be effective on what I'm doing.
I'm a scout since I'm 8 years old so I'm used to entertain kids and adolescents and I'm not scared to get my hands dirty. I also mainly have lived with roomates sharing the kitchen and cooking together so I'm used to live in community.
Taking care of a house, cooking, living with a large group of people, all this are common for me.
I have one dog and already had cats and love to take care of animals.

Autres infos...

I'm specially aware about climate change and generally about the human impact on the planet and other people so I'm looking for a way of life more respectfull of environment.
It would be fantastic If I can learn something on this area with you (organic farms, zero waste community, etc.).
