Description

I love biking, working hard, meeting new people, knitting sweaters, and reading good books. I’m originally from Vermont and just finished up work as a bike guide in Alaska. I have a BA in outdoor education and sustainable agriculture and I am especially interested in community, farming, and forestry. I am very flexible and social, and love getting to know people and learning new skills!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked at various vegetable, meat, and dairy farms since I was 14 years old and was the work lead at my college for the garden and our draft animal program. Through this I was able to learn how to cultivate land with draft animals and learn more about caring for soil and what different plants need. My latest farm work was last summer at a permaculture dairy farm in Ecuador for two months. Last year I worked at an expedition school leading trips mainly in the northeast of the US and specializing in biking and rock climbing. Before that I worked at other wilderness and primitive skills based summer camps, and I love working with kids. I grew up with goats, chickens, and many building projects going on. I think I am a fast learner and I love hard work.
