We are friendly family from Canada, on a year-long journey through Workaway to explore the world, make new friends, and build connections through shared adventures and experiences.

We are Anna, Serge and Mark.
Having grown up in Eastern Europe and Israel, we have called Canada home for the past 20 years. We fell in love with Canada and Toronto and consider ourselves incredibly lucky to be part of this wonderful country.
Now that our older son has moved out to university, we have decided that it is time for our family to explore the world embracing various cultures along the way. We are taking time off from our 9-5 jobs and Mark’s school :) to embark on a year-long adventure and absorb the world through the volunteering and cultural exchange. We are still working out a plan but hoping to leave in the beginning of 2024 and very thrilled to become part of workaway community!!
We are in the early 40s and Mark is mature almost 12-year-old. We are laid back and friendly family passionate about culture, travel and adventure. We enjoy active lifestyle, nature, connecting with people and learning. We are not afraid of hard work and are open minded and adaptable.
Serge is a chef with lifelong passion for food, eager to learn and share the knowledge and the skills. Sharing a meal is his way of connecting to people. He also enjoys playing the guitar and would love an opportunity to practice his Spanish.
Anna has background in psychology and teaching and excited to foster meaningful connections. She also has good organizational and project management skills, computer knowledge and passion for photography, yoga and gardening.
Mark is an avid sports enthusiast with passion for any and all sports, very sociable kid who is looking to make new friends and adores babies and little children.
We enjoy helping others and are ready to tackle any task, learn, contribute, and build meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds.
As a family, traveling and exploring the world through workaway together, we are excited to grow and to build the connection through the shared adventures and experiences. Can’t wait to start our journey! 🌍✈️

Serge is a chef and can cook in professional or home setting, also has knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions and anything and everything food related is his specialty.
Anna has experience in customer service, computer support, photos and content for social media. Can clean or do any other household chores.
Mark is mature kid and he can pick up many tasks independently and contribute in a meaningful way including babysitting babies and children
We have some experience in basic construction, gardening, farming but are eager to learn more and broaden our skill set.
We can teach English and engage with children and youth sharing our knowledge and expertise
We are very open minded and ready and willing to work and learn!! We take pride in our work and not afraid of the challenges.Âge
