Description
Hello! My name is Hanna, I am 18 years old and I am taking a gap year during 2024/25 before going to university to study biology. My goal during this year is to spend time in Germany (a country I would like to study/work in) to improve my spoken German, gain new skills and experiences.
I am an active person, and love climbing, hiking and running. I am also an avid reader, and enjoy playing chess. So if you share these interests with me, then great! But otherwise I am always keen to gain new experience and would love to know what interests you :)
I love a challenge and am always willing to try new things, so even if I do not have the desired skills for a particular job, I will gladly learn it! I am particularly interested in working on a farm, or gardening, and of course something that allows me to practise my German (and help you practise English, if you like).

I am fluent in English, and very happy to help people with learning/practising this language. I have a good understanding of German, due to growing up in a bilingual household, however my spoken German is not fluent. I would love to practise speaking German, to improve upon this.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have lots of experience with helping around the house: cooking, cleaning, general chores. I have done dog and house-sitting twice for 4 and 5 days.
I have some experience with gardening, both in school, the garden and my mum’s “Schrebergarten”. I am interested in growing fruit and vegetables, and life in the countryside. I have also looked after chickens: collecting eggs, mucking out the chicken coop, etc. My experience is limited but I am keen to experience life on a farm, and looking after animals.
I am hard-working and love a challenge. Whatever skills I am missing, I would love to learn! I’m also typically an early-riser, so if there’s any morning chores that need doing then you can count on me for that :)
