Hello! My name is Hannah, I am 24 years old and live in England in the UK. I have lived off-grid for almost 3 years in a caravan in Bristol, I live within a community of about 20 other people also in vans. This has become a very special way of life to me and I prioritise feeling connected to the land and living a minimal lifestyle. I would describe myself as being a kind and gentle soul, open minded and happy to get stuck in with anything.
I studied Art for a few years and I currently work as a Mental Health support worker, I work mostly within Women's mental health services.
I love to dance!! I dabble in Burlesque dancing and otherwise spend most of my downtime painting, meditating and taking long walks in nature . I have grown small vegetable gardens before and done some animal care mostly with chickens and dogs. I have also been trying to learn to recognise wild edible plants for use in the kitchen and have a keen interest to learn about herbalism!

I love living in community and being surrounded by people with similar values, I also enjoy spending time by myself and am happy to be independent when needed. I am hoping to one day purchase some land and build a community somewhere, so I am curious and excited to learn more about how other people are setting up and running their projects.
I am also seeking to reconnect with myself and nature after a very hectic few years of working intense jobs in the city. I am more than happy to work hard on your projects with you! but I would love the opportunity to connect intimately with the land and others around me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am really eager to learn new skills and am open to most things! I have a particular interest in learning more about permaculture, gardening and growing food. I find these areas super interesting, but currently know quite little about them apart from some basic gardening skills.

I built my own campervan a few years ago so I have some DIY skills, although they are quite basic. I studied art for quite a few years so happy to help with any creative/decorating projects. I also worked in a Nursery for a year so can lend a hand with childcare if needed :) I love food and cooking, we regularly cook big communal meals in my current community so I would be more than happy to help out with cooking at your project also!
