Hi, my name is Marthe. I have an office job in regular life, and that is why I like to be outside and work with my hands during (summer) holidays! I am particularly interested in circular farming and I have done some farm work in the past. But I have also done many other things in holidays previously, like building a kitchen and childcare. I met great, inspiring people that way.Very enriching. These earlier experiences I had through other organisations, so this will be my first adventure through Workaway. I am looking forward!
Often I plan pretty last minute, so I hope to find a host who can handle that :-) Happy to exchange and learn.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Experience, knowledge, skills:
- Philosophy (for some interesting talks at the fireplace :-))
- Soil science (though still lots to learn in the field)
- Household: cooking, tidying, cleaning.
- Farmwork: weeding, planting.
- Building: some experience with building walls, plastering, carpeting and painting. Would need some guidance though.
- Childcare: have done that quite a lot (and have two little nieces)
- Painting: decorative, but no portrait skills or such
- Driving: have my licence.
- Sports: frisbee, and most other sports I like too. Sailing particularly!
- Music: piano, and trying to learn blues harp.
Overall I would say that my best skill is that I love to learn, and I am patient and precise.
I have a background in philosophy and in geography/environmental sciences.
For sports I play frisbee. It is very fun and keeps me fit. Handy jobs like building and carpenting I have done on some occasions, but I would need some guidance.

I love walking and biking. And I like board games, and camp site games like ping pong, table football, badminton.
I try to live conscious of my CO2footprint. Iprefer eating vegan and vegetarian. For travelling I avoid the airplane.
