I am an avid traveller and a life long learner. I enjoy learning about cultures, places and different ways to do things. I seem to take the road less travelled and I always want to know what is around the next corner.

One of my passions is empowering people through education whether it be formal education or a brief 20 minute learning opportunity.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I think I have spent most of my life in a school, either as a student or as a teacher. As a Life Long Learner and an educator I am very aware how education, skills, and an open mind can empower people and change their lives.

My career was predominantly teaching business software and basic computer courses. I have a BA in Adult Education, an MA is Integrated Studies and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. My first job outside of Canada was teaching Oral English at a University in China.

I do not want to help you on your farm or build your DIY projects or do any of the countless other tasks that can be done more efficiently by those younger and less experienced than I am.

However, I would like to be part of your home, family, project and community and share the knowledge and wisdom that I have accumulated through many years as a mother, grandmother, teacher and traveller.

I am a native English speaker and have lived in an English speaking country my entire life. I have travelled extensively and have been rewarded by opportunities to help people around the world improve their English skills.

I really enjoy snorkelling and enjoy being on, in or around water. I am a mother of three adult sons and a grandmother of seven grandchildren.
