Description
Hi :)
I'm Gwen, I'm 25 years old and I grew up in France.
My job is to describe dance and theater shows for blind/visually impaired people. It's a great job but one I can only do in French, and since I want to travel for a while, I'm taking a break.
In the summer I really like hiking and I spend most of my time outside.
In the winter you will most likely find me knitting/crocheting or reading in any warm and cosy place.
I love taking care of animals, and would be really interested in learning about house or van renovation.
Also : I've been getting into tango dancing recently, still a beginner but would love to keep practicing !
Experiences :
I've been wwoofing in a farm/musteri from September to November, daily tasks were mostly : picking apples and pasteurizing apple juice, feeding birds and pigs, weeding and picking veggies.
I have also been helping friends with renovation projects back in France (changing the roof of a shed, insulating an attic, painting walls etc.) Also lighter "handiwork" like unclogging sinks, installing curtain rods...small things here and there.
I love animals, I grew up with dogs and cats, and am used to taking care of them. I am going to stay for a month in a farm where there are sheep and goats (my absolute favorite !!) so I'll have some experience with them too :)
I would be very - very - interested in learning carpentry/woodworking if anyone can help with that !Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I studied the performing arts and I am currently working as an audiodescriber, describing dance and theater shows for blind/visually impaired people.
I speak French (native) and English fluently. I'm learning Swedish :)
I'm used to taking care of dogs and cats as I've always lived with animals growing up (I grew up in a small town in the French Alps).
I have acquired some experience of farming through wwoofing, like taking care of animals (birds and pigs), weeding and picking veggies.
I have also been helping renovation projects and fixing smaller things around the house.
I can cook and bake, rumour has it I make a mean chocolate cake.Âge
