Hello there!
My name is Gréta and I am Icelandic! This is my second time using Workaway for traveling and so far so good! I really believe that traveling makes you rich in ways leading a "typical life" never could. I want to learn from others, nature, experiences and various environments and cultures. I want to experience things and feelings you can't understand from reading books and I want to grow friendships and strengthen the connection and compassion between us humans, and animals.

I love creating and environment that offers the chance to be creative. For me creating can be in many forms... art (dancing, drawing, singing, writing...), creating friendships, peace, ecological houses, gardens and so on. I feel best when I'm connected to nature and not so much with modern technology. I like developing my mind and strengthen positive feelings towards others and myself. I am really interested in different cultures and how they can meet through mutual respect, kindness and love.
I Speak fluent English, Icelandic, some French and Danish and understand a little Italian. It has helped me a lot with communicating and I would love to further develop my language skills or gain new ones. I really feel good when I get the opportunity to hear and experience new stories and new backgrounds to gain a better understanding of the world.

I am a fast learner and open minded so it's not so difficult for me to learn new jobs and activities. I appreciate every new skill that I have the opportunity to learn!

I practise yoga and would love to have a yoga partner!

I hold a great respect for nature and therefore I have led a vegan lifestyle for almost 2 years and wish to continue doing so.
