hi! my name is Grace and I'm from Columbus, Ohio. I have worked on Nantucket Island, USA for 6 seasons in the hospitality and restaurant industry. I have a strong passion for meeting new people from all around the world and all walks of life! I love to help people and volunteer and want to find more ways to incorporate that into my life. Traveling has always been my passion and I am grateful to work seasonally and have a job where I can take the winters off to travel. I grew up camping and hiking so I have developed a strong love of the outdoors! Im the happiest when im outside and love adventuring and exploring new places! Im always down for anything! I love taking pictures and can't wait to experiment more with my camera. I'm solo traveling to NZ for a few months and want to see as many places and meet as many people as I can!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been in the hospitality and restaurant industry for 9 years and have developed a very strong work ethic. I work on Nantucket Island which is a very popular tourist destination with high end clientele. I have had the opportunity to work with and for people of all walks of life and from all over the world! Throughout my experience as a server and bartender, I’ve learned to be a great team player and to always be flexible. I’ve had to adapt to many different scenarios and to be ready for whatever gets thrown at me! From my time traveling and doing seasonal service industry work, I have developed great social and conversational skills. I’ve done an array of jobs including: concierge at an inn on Nantucket, hostessing, serving, and bartending. I’m a very tidy and organized person and have developed the ability to perform a variety of tasks and jobs in a productive manner. I also love to cook and consider it a hobby of mine, especially having been in the restaurant industry for awhile now.

I grew up camping and exploring the outdoors. I have a strong love for the environment and the beauty of nature. I love to hike, camp, kayak, fish, swim, and do basically any outdoor activity. Traveling and seeing beautiful places is my passion. I love to take pictures and am excited to grow and learn in the photography field. I also love to cook! Especially for other people. I would love the ability to expand my horizons and make delicious food for people!
