Hey! What motivates me is the great outdoors!
I've been living in Guernsey most of my life and as much as it's beautiful and peaceful it doesn't offer big open spaces and the room to roam.
I have background working as a gardener, landscaper and stonemasonry. Using my hands to transform a space is what I'd ideally like to be doing but any outdoor work I'll get my teeth into.
I'd really like to learn and help out on regenerative farms with the idea of owning my own and living semi off grid in the future.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

So my skills set does vary, I started my working life within the finance industry and did that for three years. Not for me as I'd rather be engaging with people and the environment. I moved to a locksmith firm and was cutting keys and creating locks, so a steady hand needed.
I then did two years on a blacksmithing course, where it tested my hand eye coordination and patience and knowledge of how metal moves.
Once I moved back to Guernsey I landed in one of my favourite jobs as a landscaper which I found working with lots of different materials and transforming spaces. From there I've learnt to use a digger, laid patios, created timberframe decks and pergolas.
I've been self employed the last two years with my brother and we again have a multi faucet job. We have a garden maintenance round and keep customers gardens looking tidy all year around. We have done small scale landscaping works and lots of dry stone walling and repointing of patios and houses. Our niche part of the trade is monumental masonry where I help fit and refurbish headstones.

I'm a big lover of cooking and baking and get a lot of satisfaction from cooking a good meal for a group of people!
Big fan of rugby!
I also do a bit of yoga and love to go on long hikes!
I swim a lot guernsey being so close to the shoreline and it doesn't matter on the temperature.
