Hi every one !
We are Gonzalo and Léonie ! ( Also you can Call us Gonz and Léo)
We met on the road in Ecuador. Today marks two years since we started traveling together, heading towards Alaska! We like to take our time because it's not the destination that's most important, but the way to arrive...
Léonie decided to make a change in her life and left the routine behind. She has been traveling intermittently for two and a half years now in latine america, and it was a great decision. She enjoy nature and the simple things in life. Love camping, trekking, climbing, and snow sports. On this trip, She's learning and adapting to different cultural norms, climates, and activities.
Gonzalo also decided to get away from it all, starting in Chile after converting his van. He's been traveling the Pan-American Highway for four years now.He's very sociable and loves human adventure as much as sporting ones. He's a real bon vivant with a big heart.
We love to enjoy life spontaneously. We are in love with life and with anyone who feels the same way.

Gonzalo is a native Spanish speaker and Leonie is a native French speaker. We speak Spanish among ourselves, but currently Gonzalo is studying French and Leonie is studying English. We're happy to have a language exchange, and if we can help them learn, that's possible too.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We love hosting parties! We like to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease.
We both have experience volunteering around the world in different fields like : construction, cocoa and coffee farms, and hostels.
We even had the opportunity to manage a hotel in Panama. Leonie loves learning new things and is very committed to her work. She never leaves anything unfinished and works longer hours without even realizing it. You can tell she volunteers to lend a hand to those in need, and she's always happy to help!
Gonzalo is a creative, curious, and volunteer-oriented person. He like to understand, experiment, and propose new ideas. He's very generous and like to help whenever he can. He's known for his kindness and sense of humor, which make collaborating pleasant and relaxed. Gonz like to get involved in every project.

Something important is that we traveled together in a campervan two and a half years ago. Gonzalo likes having his tools, and they're always useful when we're volunteering. We were on this platform before, but with separate profiles, and now we've decided to join forces under a new profile. Leonie is a radiologist, and Gonzalo is an architect. We have many hobbies together, such as walking dogs, surfing, and playing cards. Gonzalo makes wooden figures, and Leo does macrame. Together, we make coffee and crepes to help fund our trip.
