Description

My name is Giorgio Zannier, and I will be turning 22 in December. I reside in Lugano, Switzerland. I am fluent in Italian, English, and French. I am currently awaiting the results of my International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) final exams. I have had the opportunity to accumulate various volunteer experiences, which have allowed me to develop practical skills and to work effectively in international team settings.

In Vanuatu, I lived with a local family and contributed to the construction of a house for the community. In Ghana, I worked with an association at a local school, participating in a PET disposal project. Additionally, with my former Steiner School class, I traveled to Romania to perform maintenance and conduct activities with Romanian children at a Steiner school.

I am a hands-on individual who enjoys being outdoors. I love working on concrete projects and seeing the results of my efforts. I have experience in the hospitality industry as a waiter and bartender. I have also worked as a gardener, mason, and in various types of cleaning and wooden construction. I am skilled in welding, modeling, and painting, and I continually strive to surpass my own limits.

I am seeking new employment opportunities where I can apply my skills and actively contribute to the growth of the company. I am available for an interview and am ready to embrace new professional challenges.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I began my introduction to the workforce as a handyman at my grandmother's villa, which features a pool and three gardens requiring extensive maintenance (a responsibility I still manage today). Thanks to the Steiner School, I was able to explore various manual arts from a young age, including woodworking, dry stone wall construction, metallurgy, turning, and the creation of carpets and costumes, among others. I have worked seasonally or on-call for a professional gardener and have gained experience in four renowned restaurants in Lugano. Additionally, I have always paid special attention to the care of children and the organization of both school and extracurricular activities. I practice basketball, boxing, rowing, and climbing, the latter of which I taught in courses alongside a teacher from my school for the school community.
