Hello, I'm Gethin - I'm an energetic, sociable and hard-working traveller, with a love for learning new things, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.

My background and passions lie within Environmental Conservation, Ecology, and Sustainable Agriculture. But I also love language learning and teaching, with experience teaching English and Science abroad in Thailand, Malaysia, and Laos.

I love creativity, music, and helping others - as well as woodwork and landscape management.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I was born, raised and have worked professionally on a regenerative farm, so therefore am experienced in physical land management techniques, using tools, and outdoor work.

I hold a first-class degree in Environmental Science, and have worked professionally as an Ecologist and as a Conservation Ranger Trainee. I have a steadfast passion for conservation and working outdoors, rain or shine, and am a quick learner.

Metalwork and structural carpentry are also something I can help with, having an array of job and course experience in these sectors. I hold a level III cert in Engineering, with my largest project being a 54-foot-long timber-framed structure at a sawmill.

I’m charismatic and enjoy chatting and doing activities together, but can also deal well when left alone. Always keen to play some board, dice, or card games, exchange books, create, and explore outside. I also enjoy cooking, especially asian inspired cuisine.
