Hello to my potential future host.

I am an 18 year old girl from Germany who is looking forward to spend a year working and travelling all over Canada before I start university at the end of 2025!

My family and I love to explore different countries & cultures and have travelled quite a bit. We have visited Canada twice (spending about 6 weeks each in the west and east). I have absolutely fallen in love with this country, mainly because of its wildlife and diverse nature, and especially because of the friendliness and openness of the Canadians.

After graduating from high school this summer, I am now eager to spend a year abroad learning and trying new things.

I consider myself to be an outgoing person who enjoys the company of others. In general, I am a calm and relaxed person who is easily fascinated by different things. I am well organised and reliable and can work both on my own and with others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have just graduated from High School (German Higher School Certificate /General University Entrance Qualification).

Apart from that, the following skills might be of interest to you:

- I love and am quite good at painting (especially watercolours), handicrafts and other DIY things
- My involvement in a church youth organisation has allowed me to develop team management and planning skills (events, expeditions, trips)
- Being a scout for a few years gave me some leadership and outdoor skills.
- I have a boat driving licence (International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft)
- I have some experience as a sailing instructor, event manager, service staff etc.
- In general, I have solid organisational and communication skills, and am a team player with a proactive approach to problem solving.

I began playing the guitar about a year ago and have developed a passion for music. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as engaging in painting and various arts and crafts activities.
