Description
Hello :) We are two 23-year-old best friends from Hungary, figuring life out as we go. As we both reached a crossroad at the same time of our lives, we decided to start Workaway together (with our dogs!). As we are currently on our first Workaway experience, we don't have specific expectations- if you love dogs and can offer space for two lost-and-found souls, we would be happy to get to know you via a video call ❤️
Luca:
I've been thinking about trying my luck abroad for a long time, and after finishing university I've just had enough courage and the final boost to go abroad with my best friend. My goal with Workaway, among other things, is to explore new places, meet new people, learn languages and push the boundaries of my comfort zone, while getting to know myself better. And of course I'd take my dog, Lia with me, because she's been my greatest companion on all my travels so far, and I couldn't imagine this one without her.
I do feel that I have an open mind and I would like to -and at the same time, I would be able to- help our future hosts in many areas. Some things I really enjoy are hiking, being in nature, playing sports, photography, being artistic, spending time with my dogs, meditating and relaxing etc. I consider myself a cheerful, positive person who now needs to embark on this journey and collect lifelong experiences.
Tamara:
Due to my previous job at a green organization within my university, I am especially interested in practising a progressive mindset in all dimensions of sustainability (personal habits, corporate responsibility, as well as systemic change in both environmental and social issues). In my free time, I have a wide variety of hobbies that literally change with the seasons: dog training and frisbee, photography, playing music, reading, digital drawing, painting, writing, sports, meditation, being in nature, and spending time with my friends. If you have a cool project idea, I am always happy to try to implement it!
I have two super cute dogs who I hope to bring with me on my travels: Mina and Ginny. They both love people (and CUDDLES) and get along well with children, as well as other dogs.
I have wanted to try Workaway and travel around Europe with my dogs since I was 16. Now that I graduated with my Bachelor's in Animal Sciences, I decided to take a gap year to fulfil this dream with my best friend! I am really excited to be immersed in different cultures and try myself out in new working situations. I love to learn something new every day, and I am open to expanding my horizons! I get energized by nature, animals, beautiful places, deep conversations, adventurous souls, and music- so if you got any of these, we will already get along well ;)

Autres infos...
We have three well-behaved, mid-size (~15 kg) dogs: two border collie sisters, Lia & Ginny, and a mix, Mina. We would love to bring them on our journey and experience this adventure together. They are accustomed to travelling around Europe. We are of course happy to make reasonable adjustments according to the host's preferences! You can always ask us if you have any questions or doubts regarding the dogs, we are open to discussing any concerns.
