Description
Hi, my name is Georgie! I'm from the UK and have been travelling since October 2024 with my partner. He is returning home for work in May 2025 but I am continuing to travel on my own and spend time in France in May/June. My partner and I completed numerous enjoyable workaways in New Zealand and South America, and I am excited to carry on with these, on my own this time! (At home, I work as an Ecologist, though I'm currently on a sabbatical). I love spending time outdoors, in particular hiking, wild swimming and sailing. I've been learning French for several years now and am at an intermediate level, however I lack speaking skills and so I'm looking to improve these during my time in France. I would be very grateful for any help with my French speaking!
I'm clean, tidy, respectful and take initiative with tasks, and have always received very good reviews/feedback from previous workaway hosts. I'm keen to help out with any tasks you might need, from cleaning to cooking to gardening. I also love spending time with children- I have some experience working with children when I taught English as a foreign language in China.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I love being outdoors and in nature so am very happy with any work that is outside, such as gardening. I don't mind getting my hands dirty! I love pets and have some experience with farm animals.
I worked as a teacher in China, teaching English, for a time so I enjoy being around children and can help with English learning.
I might not be the best cook, but I really enjoy baking and can cook nice vegetarian meals!
