I currently live in Glasgow, Scotland and am planning a trip to Europe this November. I would love to find a workaway where I can practice Spanish language.

Description

I am a Scottish anthropologist and international development professional with a love for all things Latin America travel, the Amazon rainforest and indigenous and minority rights.

Cooking and eating are hugely important to me and I love to share culture and care through food. I believe life can only be enriched by learning from others and I take alot of joy in hearing others stories and life experiences.

I currently work for an International School Feeding charity who feed in 18 countries across the world.

I love seeking out epic adventures close to nature. When at home in Scotland I enjoy Van Life trips to the Scottish Highlands and Islands and when abroad, my heart will always find its way back to Amazonia, a wild place that continues to shape me and fill me with awe and wonder.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a lot of previous experience of work away placements having completed a 1.5 year trip in Central and South America 7 years ago working in various locations including hostels, farms, community projects and housesits.

I have Spanish Language Skills (which I would like to improve upon), I love building relationships and I am physically fit and enjoy manual jobs. I enjoy working as part of a team and have also led volunteer teams on development projects in fairly harsh environments and have hugely enjoyed the challenge.

I enjoy cooking, sharing in others culture and am skilled in various areas of the international charity sector including fundraising, community development and managing projects.
