Hi there! I assume there is a 🌍 to explore and so many nice people to meet!

My Name is Gela, I’m 20 years old and from Germany. I`m studying math and physics to become a teacher in Cologne.

If you don't find me behind math formulas then you'll probably find me outside - I love spending time in nature and running/cycling...I've also been playing inline skate hockey/ ice hockey for 10 years and always enjoy visiting the junior teams that I coached before I moved to Cologne.
After graduating from high school, I did a voluntary social year at a special school and learned early on to take responsibility and to stay calm and relaxed no matter how stressful and unpredictable the day can be :)
I have always loved working with children, but this year has only strengthened my resolve to become a teacher:)
As I grew up with 3 siblings and have a close relationship with them, I am a real “family person”. I love the hustle and bustle of a big family and especially appreciate spending time together and eating together:)
I am very independent and conscientious. I love to cook (vegetarian:) and have had my driver's license for 3 years.

I have always been an incredibly open, extroverted and outgoing person and love to meet new people and their stories. That's why I hope that this summer I can fulfill my childhood dream and travel to Canada for the first time. I would love to get to know this beautiful country and culture!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I like to help in the household or the garden and I am very reliable. I like to cook and bake (especially an apple pie without a recipe:)
I also love animals and enjoy taking care of them.

I got my drivers licence in April 2022.

And even if I don’t know a skill yet, I’m ambitious and can learn very quickly:)
