Hey,
My name is Galiane and I'm 23 years old. I live in the capital of Switzerland "Bern". Like probably most here, I would start with the sentence that I love to travel, explore other cultures and learn new languages.
My first real travel experience was in 2022, when I traveled through Central America with a friend for half a year. That was definitely a jump into the cold for me and until that point I don't think I really knew how much and how formative this trip and this leap would be for me.

In that six months we were traveling with our backpacks through Central America. We started in the Dominican Republic and ended our trip in Cuba. In Cuba we were able to get to know the Cuban culture, we were allowed to live with a Cuban family due to contact from home and really dive in the everyday life of a Cuban. The Spanish language has accompanied me on my whole journey very much and by my open kind we came again and again into contact with native ones.

I love making new contacts, seeing and hearing new faces and stories, and how everyone goes about their daily lives in a slightly different world. For me, language is the first way into a new culture.

Therefore, I think it is first and most important to get to know people and understand what values and customs they represent. Who they are and what it means to come out of this country. So that we can treat each other with mutual respect.

At home I have already worked in many different areas. Started with my rather monotonous office job, to working in a day care center, to my summer job as Empanda saleswoman I have done quite a bit. For these reasons I would also describe myself as a versatile and interested person who likes to try new things.

I am looking for a new challenge where I can grow and learn new things for my future.

I hope this text has given you a little insight into what kind of person I am and where my motivation comes from.

I would like to help out, if its in a hostel, a school, a family or as well in nature conservation or in agriculture.

I already learned on my travel a lot of Spanish but I guess we all know that, if your back home and you have no one to speak in your learned language you start to forget certain things. So I wanna fresh up my Spanish and also dive more into the spanish language

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I speak almost 4 languages these are German, English, French and a bit of Spanish.

I worked in a day care center for almost half a year, so I would say im good at taking care of kids and help them in their daily life. Working with kids was very interesting and you can learn a lot of things. So I would say I know a lot about how to take care of a majority of children, how to keep them busy, what their needs are and how to best teach them something.

From my work experience in the office I would say I learned how to communicate in different languages and of course a lot of administrational and computer stuff but as well how to deal with customer and how to reach their needs. I think these things could be useful in a hostel for example.

In my summer job as a empanada saleswoman I also had a lot of customer contact, also I learned how to bake empandas and as well cleaning, cooking and selling was part of my job, which I enjoyed a lot.

From my hobbies like singing, yoga and cooking I also could learn a lot.
So I would say that I am good at making music with others as well as teaching others some yoga asanas. Cooking with others, trying out new recipes I find super cool and I'm good at it.

I really like to sing and I would describe myself as an artist, who writes her own songs and who wants to be an musician one day. In general im a big fan of art, if its music, dancing, painting I tried almost everything but I guess my first Love is and was music.
