  • Description

I’m a curious, positive and adventurous person. I’ve always been someone who feels happiest when I’m discovering something new. A new place, a different culture, a new person to talk to, or even a simple everyday task I’ve never done before.

I’m passionate about animals, especially horses, and I’ve spent many years around them. I have been surrounded by animals since I was a little girl. Growing up, my home was always full of different furry and feathered friends: dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, parrots and turtles. Being around animals from such a young age has made caring for them feel like a natural part of my life. have always felt a special connection with animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, taking care of them and getting to know their individual personalities.
I also love nature, travelling, art, history and archaeology, which is what I’m currently studying at university.

What makes me happiest is feeling connected to the people and places around me: sharing simple moments, learning new skills, helping others and creating memories that stay with me. I believe that travelling is not only about seeing new places, but also about experiencing everyday life, getting out of your comfort zone and becoming richer through the people you meet.

I’m a responsible and determined person, but also easy-going and always happy to lend a hand. I’m looking forward to discovering new cultures, improving my language skills, learning something new and contributing positively wherever I go.

For me, the most beautiful part of travelling has always been the people you meet along the way. I’d love to collect stories rather than just souvenirs, and memories that will make me smile years from now. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and who I’ll meet along the way.

Plus de détails sur les langues qui m'intéressent
Languages have always been one of my biggest interests. I studied English, Spanish and German at a language-focused high school, and over the years I have developed a strong interest in communicating with people from different countries. I speak Italian as my native language and I have a very good level of English and Spanish. I really enjoy using languages in everyday situations rather than only studying them from books. For me, speaking another language is a way of getting closer to people, understanding different perspectives and feeling more connected to the place I am visiting. I would be very happy to practise my existing languages during my Workaway experiences and, at the same time, learn new words and expressions from the local language.

  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have always been particularly interested in animals, nature and the environment. I volunteer with WWF and have had experience caring for and supporting wildlife, including sea turtles. This has taught me to be responsible, patient and careful, while also working respectfully around animals and in natural environments.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. I practiced horse riding for many years and, although I no longer ride, I have gained extensive experience with horses and their everyday care. I am familiar with grooming, feeding, basic stable duties, handling horses from the ground and spending time with them outdoors.

I have also worked as a pet sitter and babysitter, looking after both animals and children independently. These experiences have helped me become reliable, attentive and comfortable taking responsibility for someone else's wellbeing.

I am currently studying Cultural Heritage and Archaeology at university, which has given me an interest in history, archaeology, museums, cultural heritage and different traditions. I enjoy learning about the places I visit and understanding their history rather than simply seeing them as a tourist.

I enjoy being outdoors and I am happy doing practical work. I don't mind cleaning, organising, carrying out basic daily tasks, helping in gardens or around a property, preparing meals, taking care of animals or helping with children. I am not afraid of learning something from scratch and I usually learn quickly by watching and doing.

Most importantly, I am willing to help wherever I am needed. I may not have professional experience in every type of Workaway project, but I bring enthusiasm, responsibility, adaptability and a genuine desire to learn. I believe that being willing to learn is a skill in itself.

  • Autres infos...

I absolutely love baking and making desserts. I have to admit that I sometimes think I might have a small addiction to chocolate! 🍫 I enjoy cooking and, even more, sharing what I make with other people. For me, food is one of the nicest ways to connect with someone.

I love reading, long walks in nature, animals, music and discovering new places. I can enjoy a quiet afternoon with a book just as much as a completely spontaneous adventure.

One of the funniest things about me is that you will probably never get a “no” when it comes to an adventure. You could ask me to come to the supermarket, take a last-minute road trip, explore a place I've never seen before or do something completely crazy — like climbing a mountain — and there is a very good chance I will say: “Okay, when are we leaving?” 😂

I am naturally curious and I love learning things simply because I find them interesting. I can spend hours listening to someone tell me about their country, their traditions, their life or something they are passionate about. I think everyone has a story worth listening to.

I also really enjoy photography and documenting little moments when I travel. I like coming home with memories, stories and hundreds of pictures that probably nobody asked for. 📸

I try to live by a simple philosophy: treat people the way you would like to be treated. I consider myself an altruistic and empathetic person, and I genuinely enjoy helping others and making people feel comfortable and welcomed.

I’m also quite adaptable. I don't need everything to go exactly according to plan to enjoy myself. Sometimes the unexpected plans, the wrong turns and the things you didn't plan at all end up becoming the best memories.

At the end of the day, I think what I value most is connection: good conversations, shared experiences, laughter, kindness and that feeling of being somewhere far from home but still feeling a little bit at home.
