Dear reader,

Welcome to my profile!

My name is Gabriella and I come from the south of Sweden. I'm currently in Mexico, enjoying the beautiful and rich culture here. I would love to find a workaway project were I could contribute and at the same time learn new things. I have experience from volonteer work as an art pedagog/child educater, hostel host and event planner in Thailand, Cambodia, Malta and Sweden. My last volunteer work was for a community in the djungle outside of Palenque, Mexico. Here I worked with permaculture, art and cooking. I had a great experience!

My biggest passion in life is nature. I spent my last 3 years living in the countryside of Norway. There my passion for nature grew and grew. I loved to hike in the forrest, to connect with every living spieces. In Summer i would swim in the nearby lake and grow vegetables and flowers in the garden. During the colder months i would create a fire, sing and dance together with friends, or create jewelry, sculptures or paintings.

I'm also very interested in culture. Understanding what unites people - food, music, art, dance, ceremonies, beliefs, language and so on. Learning Spanish to fully understand the Mexican culture is my biggest goal at the moment.

I spend my last ten years working as an art pedagog for children, helping children to express through creativity. To create is my medicine. I feel so much joy when using my mind and my body. At the moment I'm very interested in creating with nature materials such as wool, feathers, dried flowers, wood, rocks and clay. I'm also extremely interested in garden work. Understanding permaculture and experiencing ii is something I enjoy a lot.
