Hi! I'm Franzi, 21 years old and from Germany. 🌿🌞
I'm a creative and open-minded person who loves gaining new experiences and lending a helping hand. In my free time, I enjoy painting, spending time in nature – whether hiking or cycling – and cooking healthy, fresh meals.
I have experience working with animals, especially horses, since I rode for many years. I'm also familiar with gardening and enjoy doing hands-on tasks – I'm not a professional, but I'm practical and always willing to learn.
Spain is my favorite country, and I’m doing Workaway to improve my Spanish, get to know the culture and people, and eventually travel around the country. In the future, I’d also love to explore other countries through Workaway.
I'm especially interested in farm work and animal care projects, where I can actively contribute and learn something new. I’m looking forward to discovering new places, meeting people, and sharing my skills!

Hallo! Ich bin Franzi, 21 Jahre alt und komme aus Deutschland. 🌿🌞
Ich bin ein kreativer, offener Mensch, der gerne neue Erfahrungen sammelt und mit anpackt. In meiner Freizeit male ich gerne, bin viel draußen in der Natur unterwegs – ob beim Wandern oder Fahrradfahren – und liebe es, gesund und mit frischen Zutaten zu kochen.
Ich bringe Erfahrung im Umgang mit Tieren mit, besonders mit Pferden, da ich viele Jahre geritten bin. Auch in der Gartenarbeit und bei handwerklichen Aufgaben helfe ich gerne mit – ich bin zwar keine Profi-Handwerkerin, aber durchaus geschickt und lernbereit.
Spanien ist mein Herzensland, und ich möchte über Workaway die Kultur, Menschen und vor allem die Sprache besser kennenlernen. Mein Ziel ist es, irgendwann eine Rundreise durch Spanien zu machen – und später auch andere Länder zu entdecken.
Besonders interessieren mich Projekte rund um Farmarbeit und Tierschutz, wo ich aktiv mithelfen und gleichzeitig neue Dinge lernen kann. Ich freue mich darauf, neue Orte zu entdecken, Menschen kennenzulernen und meine Fähigkeiten einzubringen!

I’m really eager to learn Spanish and would also like to improve my English, because at the moment I don’t get very far with it. In return, I’ll try to teach you German. Ich möchte unbedingt Spanisch lernen und auch gerne mein Englisch verbessern, da ich momentan mit meinem Englisch nicht sehr weit komme. Im Gegenzug werde ich versuchen, euch Deutsch beizubringen.

I’m a creative and practical person with a wide range of skills and a positive, open attitude. I enjoy working outdoors and learning through hands-on experiences.
Animal care: I have many years of experience with horses, as I used to ride regularly and help out at the stables. I also had rabbits and birds as pets, so I’m familiar with the care of small animals as well. I enjoy being around animals and treat them with kindness, responsibility, and respect.
Gardening & outdoor work: I have experience with basic gardening tasks like planting, weeding, harvesting, and general maintenance. I’m not afraid of physical work and happy to get involved wherever help is needed.
DIY & practical skills: I enjoy working with wood and doing small building projects. For example, I once built a garden gate completely by myself. I also have experience with painting, wallpapering, and general home improvement tasks. I'm not a professional, but I’m skilled, precise, and eager to learn more.
Cooking: I love cooking healthy meals with fresh ingredients and enjoy preparing food for others. I'm happy to help in the kitchen or take over meal prep when needed.
Creativity & crafts: I love painting and working on creative projects. I'm happy to help with anything artistic, decorative, or creative.
General help: I’m reliable, practical, and a quick learner. I’m happy to support with cleaning, organizing, light repairs, or whatever tasks need to be done – around the house, on a farm, or with animals.
I can work independently when needed, but I also enjoy being part of a team. I always bring motivation, respect, and a willingness to learn something new every day.
Ich bin ein kreativer und praktischer Mensch mit vielseitigen Fähigkeiten und einer offenen, positiven Einstellung. Ich arbeite gerne an der frischen Luft und lerne am liebsten durch praktische Erfahrung.
Umgang mit Tieren: Ich habe viele Jahre Reiterfahrung und war regelmäßig im Stall aktiv. Zusätzlich hatte ich auch Kaninchen und Vögel als Haustiere und bringe daher Erfahrung im Umgang mit verschiedenen Tierarten mit. Der Kontakt zu Tieren fällt mir leicht, und ich gehe verantwortungsvoll, respektvoll und einfühlsam mit ihnen um.
Gartenarbeit & Arbeit im Freien: Ich habe Erfahrung mit grundlegender Gartenarbeit wie Pflanzen, Jäten, Ernten und allgemeinen Pflegearbeiten. Ich scheue mich nicht vor körperlicher Arbeit und packe gerne mit an.
Handwerkliche Fähigkeiten: Ich bin handwerklich nicht ungeschickt – ich habe zum Beispiel schon ein Gartentor komplett selbst gebaut, tapeziert und Malerarbeiten übernommen. Auch kleinere Holzarbeiten machen mir Spaß, und lerne gerne Neues dazu
Kochen: Ich liebe es, gesund und frisch zu kochen. Ich helfe gerne in der Küche mit und bereite auch für andere Mahlzeiten zu.
Kreativität & Bastelarbeiten: Ich male gerne und habe Spaß an kreativen Projekten. Gerne unterstütze ich bei künstlerischen oder dekorativen Aufgaben.
Allgemeine Hilfe: Ich bin zuverlässig, praktisch veranlagt und lerne schnell. Ich helfe gerne bei Reinigungsarbeiten, beim Organisieren, bei kleinen Reparaturen oder bei allem, was gerade anfällt – im Haus, auf dem Hof oder mit Tieren.

I'm still trying to find my place in this world, and I hope that traveling will help me gain more clarity.
I want to use Workaway as a way to travel affordably, discover new perspectives, and see the world—not just as a tourist, but by helping out, connecting with others, and learning through real-life experiences.
Ich bin noch dabei, meinen Platz in dieser Welt zu finden, und ich hoffe, dass mir das Reisen dabei helfen kann, mehr Klarheit zu gewinnen.
