Hi! My name is Francesca, I am a 21-year-old Italian girl who loves to travel and immerse herself in new cultures and make new friends.
I am currently studying Japanese language and culture at university, because of my passion for this country which fascinated me the first time I travelled there at the age of 13 as a tourist and the second time when I lived and studied as a high school student in Kyūshū.
I am also an artist and an art lover who enjoys visiting exhibitions of art represented in every kind of way (performance, dance, sculptures, music...) and who paints for passion. I also love to take pictures, and I am a self-taught photographer, my goal in this discipline is to become as good as to tell a story of someone through the use of images.
This is the first time that I use Workaway and I am very excited and motivated to help people around the world with the skills I got and to learn new skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Creative skills: I attended an art high school (5 years) where I improved my skills in painting and drawing. I have done different projects for example projecting murals, making illustrations, comics and paintings. I am a creative person who likes to project, draw and create also by hand (in the past I had accessories for costumes, I have also some knowledge of digital painting and I am learning more about photography. Since I love taking pictures if you need some help taking and posting on media I will be happy to help you.

In the past I have helped some kids with their homework, helping them with Italian and English, from that experience, I started getting interested in teaching languages and helping people of every age!

Organizing events: since I am in university I have organized some themed parties with my friends. I also love planning and organizing travels by myself or with friends deciding what to visit and searching for interesting restaurants and new experiences to do together.

Intercultural communication: since I have travelled to different countries, I have had the possibility to get in contact with people from various cultures, something I like to do is share differences and similarities between cultures in a positive way, learning more about a culture and sharing, if it is welcomed, some of mine.

I am a fast learner and am open to learning any new skill to help you. Also, I have great adaptability and a sense of humour.

Some hobbies of mine are listening to live music when I have the occasion (my favourite genres are rock and '80 music), going to modern art museums, travelling, of course, and sketching.
