Hi there!
We´re Enya and Lukas and we´re both 24 years old. We live in a shared apartement as roommates in Marburg in germany. Enya is studying philosophy and Lukas is studying chemistry. We quickly became friends after Enya moved in, and have now decided to go travelling together!
We both want to get away from the grey weather in germany to meet new people and see the sun and the sea again. We enjoy working in the garden where we have some experience. Enya spent the last year working on a permaculture project with friends, where she discovered her love for getting her hands dirty in the soil to create new life. The learning opportunity that travelling and especially workaway offers is very valuable. We both have travelled around quite a bit whenever we could fit it into our shedules.
We both love getting to know new people and hearing about their stories, since every person you meet has the potential to teach you something if you are willing to listen. Philosophizing, debating or just cracking jokes with strangers that gradually become friends is a wonderful feeling.
Lukas really enjoys sporty activities, like swimming, hitting up the gym, cycling and football (which he describes as his biggest passion in life 😉). His side job in a warehouse definitely taught him to work hard with a steady smile on his face, which rarely falters in everyday life either. This contageous smile and his sociable and optimistic attitude makes it hard not to like him.
Enya grew up around many animals. She volunteered at a dog shelter in greece, training dogs and showering them with well deserved love on their way to a long term home. She has found her passion in art. Always carrying a journal to write or draw into, occasionally noting down melodies to play on her guitar or ukulele. She has already made experiences with Workaway on her travels, helping out at a beautiful eco Project in Portugal.
We both enjoy experiencing different ways of living and learning about the wisdoms the world has to share. Being taught new skills or improvising if necessary is very appreciated.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Enya loves to cook vegetarian meals for herself and her hungry roommates, always happy to learn about new recipes. The many years of working as a waitress have taught her valuable skills, not only in regard of dealing with costumers in a polite manner, but also about working in a team. She has also worked in a hotel before. Enya has some experience in gardening, having worked on a permaculture project in the last year and she enjoys being around and caring for animals. She is also happy to support your project in any artistic way possible!
Lukas makes the best tomato sauce (self proclaimed) and enjoys hard physical work, since he likes to train his body. He grew up as the oldest sibling, learning what it means to be responsible for kids early in life and found his enjoyment in the work with children. Having hiked from Porto to Santiago on his own, he learned to rely on his own abilities. Lukas is open minded and enjoys the company of people who have a similarly positive vibe like him.

Enya likes art. Sharing art, making art or just talking about it. Otherwise she likest to read, dance around, chase an interesting idea or go on adventures. She also likes to swim in the ocean and watch sunsets. Enya is interested in learning about any skill. Carpentry, electric work, fishing, surfing, fixing stuff. Whatever you are willing to teach, She would be happy to learn from you.
Lukas is very interested in any kind of physical activity. He has a ridiculously huge knowledge about football and when he`s not busy watching the latest game, a good book will bring him joy as well. He would love to learn more about handywork, gardening and how to live a substainable life.
