Hi! I’m Vera — I enjoy learning new things, being around kind people, and doing work that feels useful.
I’m really interested in museum work and science communication — I’m a big fan of projects that make knowledge more engaging and affordable for everyone. I love finding fun or creative ways to share information and spark curiosity, whether it’s through exhibitions, writing, or hands-on learning experiences.
I’ve also worked in kids’ camps in different countries, which taught me a lot about teamwork, flexibility, and how to create a positive atmosphere even in busy, unpredictable settings. While I value those experiences and get along well with children, these days I feel more drawn to nature-focused tasks like gardening, outdoor work, or other calm, hands-on activities. I’m happy to help with kids if needed, but it’s not my main focus at the moment.
I’m especially into languages, ecology, gardening, cooking, and bees. Being outdoors, caring for plants and animals, or learning something new about the environment really motivates me. I’m curious by nature and love both quiet, focused work and good conversation.
What makes me happy is feeling part of a friendly space, having small routines, learning, sharing meals or quiet moments out of busy city life, and seeing progress in whatever I’m doing. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I try to be easy to get along with.Centres d’intérêt

Yes, I am! I’m happy to help others learn or practise a language, and I’m always excited to learn new ones myself. I can share languages i know with anyone who’s interested, and I’m also working on improving my skills in many languages. I have a background in anthropology, so language learning is especially meaningful to me — I see it as a way to understand cultures, people, and perspectives more deeply. I love picking up everyday words, local expressions, and learning how people communicate in different parts of the world. It’s not just about grammar for me — it’s about connection. Whether it’s through casual conversation or structured learning, I’m eager to exchange knowledge !Compétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’m a quick learner and a reliable helper — especially when it comes to hands-on, practical tasks. Here are some of the things I’m confident doing:
Gardening – I really enjoy working with plants: weeding, planting, watering, and caring for green spaces. I like being outdoors and don’t mind physical work — it actually helps me feel grounded and happy.
Animal care (beginner, but motivated) – I don’t have formal experience yet, but I’m genuinely interested in learning how to care for animals and support their routines. I’m patient, gentle, and ready to follow instructions closely.
Cooking – I’m comfortable cooking for groups and can prepare simple, healthy meals (including plant-based). I’m also good at using what’s available and keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
Household help – Cleaning, tidying, organizing spaces, doing laundry — I like order and don’t mind repetitive tasks.
Crafts, embroidery & DIY – I love working with my hands. I have experience in embroidery, simple sewing projects, crafting, and small DIY fixes. I enjoy slow, creative work and am happy to help with decorations, repairs, or custom handmade items.
Creative & communication tasks – I have experience writing, creating educational content, and helping with small digital projects (once I made a game for a museum)
Working with children – I’ve worked in international camps and know how to keep things safe, engaging, and fun — though I currently prefer quieter, nature-based work.Âge

Autres infos...
I love reading, especially science fiction, but also books on culture, anthropology, and language — anything that helps me understand how people live, think, and relate to the world. I often listen to biology, ecology, and anthropology lectures or podcasts, just for fun. I find it fascinating how culture, nature, and knowledge all connect.
In my free time, I enjoy sewing and hand embroidery, especially slow, detailed work. I also play the ukulele (just for fun!) and love dancing Lindy Hop when I get the chance. I'm very much a melomaniac — I enjoy discovering music from different genres and countries, and music is a big part of how I relax, focus, or connect with people.
I'm not really into board games, but I do love Alias — it's a fun way to play with words and laugh over puns. Whether it’s reading quietly or sharing a good conversation, I enjoy both peaceful solo moments and social time. I’m always happy to try something new or dive into an unexpected hobby along the way.Informations complémentaires
