Hey, I'm Floris and I created this workaway profile because I want to go travel in my gap year but I also want to make meaningful experiences and meet other like-minded travelers and I think that the best way to do that is by participating in the volunteer programs I see on this site. I'm 18 years old, I live in the Netherlands and I got my high school diploma last July.
My plan right now is to arrive in New Zealand mid-January. Before that, I'd like to spend December and maybe a part of November somewhere else on a workaway project. I'm in doubt whether I'll go somewhere in Europe, preferably France since it's closer by and I want to improve my French or somewhere in south-east Asia since it's on the way to NZ and there's a lot of countries there that I'd really like to visit like Indonesia. It will depend on the projects available.
I like making music, I play cello and I sing in a band. I also play piano but not as good as I play cello.

I'd like very much to teach English. I would love to improve my French so I can become fluent. I'm also interested in learning any other language, learning languages is one of my passions and it's very useful since I would love to have an international career in the future.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Although I'm not native, I have a C2 level in English and I'm a social person so when there's a project where students need to speak English with natives in order to learn it better I'm able to help.
I can clean, right now my job is to clean elderly people's homes and sometimes chat with them a little bit.
With a little training I would also be able to do other jobs.
