Hello, my name is Fernando, and I'm from Mexico. I have a deep connection with nature, wildlife, and the great outdoors. I believe that living in harmony with the environment is essential, and I am committed to embracing a sustainable lifestyle that respects and protects the world we live in.
Exploring new places and immersing myself in different landscapes has always been a driving force in my life. I’m particularly passionate about hiking—it's more than just a favorite activity for me, it's a way to experience the raw beauty of nature, to disconnect from the fast-paced world, and to truly appreciate the planet we call home. Along with hiking, I enjoy nearly all outdoor sports, but nothing quite compares to the peace and fulfillment that being in the mountains or forests brings me.
Having recently graduated from university, I’m taking some time to explore and reflect, eager to dive into new adventures. I’m planning my first volunteer experience, something I've been looking forward to for a long time. I'm always eager to learn new things, especially when it comes to sustainable living, conservation, and working with communities to promote environmental stewardship. This opportunity to travel and contribute to a meaningful cause aligns perfectly with my passion for nature and my desire to make a positive impact. I'm excited about the journey ahead and the lessons I’ll gain from it.

I worked for a few months building a small cabin in the middle of the forest and doing roofing, so I have skills in handling tools and manual labor.
In addition, I’m a Renewable Energy Engineer, so I have a strong commitment to sustainable development and knowledge in implementing clean energy sources (on-grid and off-grid).
I’ve also had a couple of office jobs (the most boring thing in the world, but I like to think they were useful in some way).
