Description

Hi! My name is Femke, I am 29 years old, Dutch and currently in Australia WA. Normally I live in Amsterdam, but I have been travelling on and off for over two years to get out of the fast pace city life. I love to immerse myself in the simplistic lifestyle and learn more about all the different (food)cultures, permaculture, gardening, plants (medicine), carpentry and living in communities. Basically just everything that brings me closer to nature and alternative sustainable living, so I can enjoying life to the fullest and consciously.

I studied Nutrition and Dietetics and did a vegetarian culinary school. After that I started working as a chef in vegetarian restaurants and for retreats. So yes my biggest passion is (healthy) food and cooking!

I do have lots of interests, but most of my free time I spend on learning more about Ayurveda, yoga, gardening, plant medicine, foraging and myself!

I would describe myself as a social, positive, flexible, independent and organized person. I like peace and stillness, but at the same time I definitely like craziness too, so I am always in for adventure and making good memories. Besides my hobbies I am always in to learn about anything and everything and I am definitely not afraid to make my hands dirty.

i stayed one week at Romes and he showed me some really nice places. Beautiful waterfalls, his garden and how they make palm sugar. I also harvested my own cinnamon and stayed one night at the garden where Romes and his friends cooked and made a fire. The room in his house is very comfortable too.
