Hi, we are Felix and Josie,
as a couple we have been together since 10 years. We have experienced ups and downs just as much as we have tried to "fit" in the system in which we were raised. Right now we have come to a point in life where the old stuff doesn't really work for us anymore ;) Hence, we decided for a change ! You could say that we are currently reinventing our way of living and moving towards a more adventurous one, thereby embracing uncertainty. We are ready to experience different cultures, people. communities and keen to learn and share!
We will have times travelling together as a couple but also there will be times when everyone of us will go on his/her own personal adventure! See more about each one of us below:

Hi, I am Felix!
at the moment, I am at the beginning of my "second life". During my first one, I spent a lot of energy beeing a teacher and principle in Germany. Now, I am ready to leave things behind and to explore the world! I am confident that I will meet inspiring and positive people along the way and that there will be many opportunities to learn from each other. I consider myself to be open-minded and very much interested in different cultures and life-styles. During my workaway I really would like to invest my energy into meaningful projects. As a person I am also full of energy and I Iove to move my body especially while doing sports in nature e.g. kite and wave-surfing, skiing/snowbording, biking, running, playing volleyball. I am looking forward to support people with their projects during my stay and to become part of a wonderful community! My first destination travelling alone will be Canada! (Josie will join later). It would be great to enhance my English language skills (currently between A2-B2).

Hi, I am Josie!
I am currently working and living in Norway as a tour guide. After the winter season I will join my partner for another adventure together ;) I love to be surounded by conscious people and to be in a safe, creative and open space. I am interested in spirituality, psychology, arts and nature. I have worked in counselling, HR-training and as a yoga and relaxation instructor. I now would love to enhance my guitar playing skills and I am interested in learning new instruments ;) Just as Felix, I also love movement - especially dancing and activities in nature, but I also appreciate silence and moments of connection. Apart from German, I speak English and Spanish (fluent/intermediate.) and a bit of French ;) - happy to improve, share and learn!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Felix: I have different work experience. In my past I have worked as a ski instructor, construction worker, postman, caregiver for people with disabilities and tutor. I also worked as a social worker. My actual profession however is teaching. I worked for about six years as a teacher (geography, sports and teaching German ) and for another 4 years as a school principal. I mostly enjoyed teaching and to create fun learning games to inspire my students. In addition to my official work, I enjoyed caring for and helping my grandmother.

Josie: I would love to help out in some wellness, nature or healthcare related fields. I am also happy to contribute to sustainability and nature/ animal protecting projects. I like the outdoors and don't mind physical work! In fact it would be great to contribute in DIY and farming projects, while learning more about alternative and sustainable or even selfsufficient living. I am creative and a like to include the big picture. I can create programs, projects and visions but I also am happy to do the detailed work. I can teach languages, create trainings, couselling, job coaching, teach yoga and meditation, support with nature and mindfulness therapy, tour guiding, tourism, outdoor guiding, work in programs with children and young adults, animal caretaking (horses, dogs, cats...), sharing my company for the elderly, gardening, house sitting, cooking...

Felix: I like to meditate very much. I am very interested in trees and plants. Most importand: I love Alf ;)

Josie: I try to eat healthy, preferably vegetarian. So far fish has been part of my diet occasionally, though. I am happy to learn more about vegan lifestyle.
