Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I (Famke) work in youth care back in the Netherlands. I also worked at the daycare centre, so I know a lot about children and love to interact with them (I have a little sister too)! I don’t have a lot of outside experience (such as building and gardening) but I’m open to learning new skills!

I (Wesley) worked as a operator at a factory, I worked day and night shifts. I really like to cook and try new recipes. I have a little experience with building (I built my own wooden pallet couch). I’m also open to learning new skills.

We have two dogs at home and are big dog lovers! At home we also have some bees, so Wesley has a little experience with that too.
We both have our drivers licenses and have our own car.

We love to share about our culture. Humor is very important for us! We like to play board games etc. But sometimes we also like some alone time. A mix of that would be great.

We spent 1.5 weeks with Phil, Katrina and the kids, and had a great time. We helped out with various small jobs in the garden like mowing the lawn, building a fence, and weeding the veggie patch. We also helped with some household chores. Most of the time, we looked after the kids for a few hours a day.

We had a really wonderful and enjoyable time with Jenny and the rest of the family! We immediately felt at home and were spoiled with Jenny’s delicious food. The family had a very busy week, but we discussed our tasks at the beginning of the week which allowed us to plan our own days!

Wesley & Femke were absolutely lovely to have around. They came to stay with us when we were crazy busy with our kids' sport commitments and so they had to fend for themselves and they were great! We had an AMAZING week with Colleen! Colleen is a wonderful host and great company. We chatted, cooked together, and watched movies. In the mornings we worked for a few hours.
