Hi, I'm Fabio, from Italy!
I'm 19 years old and currently taking a gap year after high school. This year i want to experience traveling, meeting new people, and connecting with others through my interests and passions.

I’m looking to visiting countries I’ve always dreamed of, such as Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Canada, Iceland... and finding hosts and groups of people I can share meaningful experiences with. I think Workaway is a fantastic way to travel because getting to know a place is not just about visiting the main attractions, but also about living the daily life and slowing down; whether that’s feeding animals on a farm, talking to locals, gardening, or hiking in a unknown valley.

A little bit about me: I love exploring nature, especially the mountains. I live near the Italian Alps, so hiking, mountain biking, and skiing are a big part of me. Another big passion of mine is photography and filmmaking. I studied graphic design in school, so I’m also skilled in creative digital work. (Maybe i can help you promoting your small business!).

I am looking for both a host to stay with, and other travelers to organize an adventure with!

Besides that, I’ve gained some experience with more practical tasks too. Every autumn I help with grape harvesting in the mountains, I’ve done some wall painting, and I’m comfortable with basic gardening work.

I like to carry my Italian culture around, so if you choose me as a Workawayer, you can definitely expect some homemade Italian dishes! Since I'm new to Workaway , I’m excited to step into new situations and seek a little bit of discomfort, it's always a good thing!

I also really love animals, especially cats (I have two at home).
As for languages, I’m quite comfortable and fluent in English, so I believe communication won’t be a problem.

I love cinema and music, and I've been playing the guitar for the past 9 years.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m quite comfortable with different kinds of tasks, both practical and creative.
On the practical side, I’ve helped with grape harvesting in the mountains, done some wall painting, and have basic gardening skills like planting and general maintenance. I enjoy learning by doing and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.

On the creative side, I studied graphic design in school and I’m passionate about photography and video-making, so I can also help with digital or visual projects.

I’m not an super-expert in everything, but I’m curious, adaptable, and always willing to put effort into new tasks.

I get along with kids and can spend time with them, but I wouldn’t say it’s really my thing. I don’t have much experience, especially with very young children. I’m happy to be around them and help when needed, but I think i just prefer not to stay with them entirely alone.
