Hello!
My name is Eva, I am 21 years old and from the east coast of the USA, although I grew up in Los Angeles, California. I just finished my bachelors studies in the U.S. (I studied psychology and sociology) and now I am traveling Europe.
I have already had many wonderful experiences living and working abroad; I was an Au-Pair for 6 months in Cologne, Germany, studied for a semester in Freiburg, Germany, and have volunteered for the last three summers in ecovillage projects in Portugal, Germany, and Sweden. I have not used workaway to find volunteer opportunities before, but was recommended by some good friends to try it!
I am a very thoughtful person who appreciates clear expectations and good communication. I am vegan and very environmentally conscious. I love being outside in nature, cooking, baking, reading, painting, dancing and above-all spending time with young children and furry friends!

I have a ton of childcare experience as I have been babysitting and nannying for the last 8 years. I have worked with all ages - from 6 month-old babies up to teenagers. I have also been dog-walking and pet-sitting forever. In my hometown I also have experience volunteering on a local farm and at a community art center. Additionally, I have worked as a barista at two different cafes and as a English writing tutor at my university. It turns out I love helping others improve their English!

I would consider myself a quick learner and dedicated worker. I enjoy a balance of time socializing and time alone. I am so looking forward to meeting you, learning about your projects, and helping in whatever ways I can.

As mentioned in my general description I am able to care for plants, animals, and children. I love connecting with humans and animals. I am also quite a good writer and have some experience with photography and video editing as well as general computer skills. I love to cook vegan food and can generally accomplish most household tasks.
