Hi there, my name is Eva. I am a Franco-Mauritian that grew up in Mauritius !

Since I grew up in a really small island, I love meeting new people and discovering new cultures.

After living in Europe for 5 years as a student, I fell in love with how big the world is. There is so many places to visit, so many people to meet and so many adventures to have.
I went back to Mauritius in 2020 because of covid and started working... but I miss being abroad and travelling !

Workaway seems like a great way to travel slowly, I absolutely can not wait!

I quit my job in March 2023 to start traveling again. I should be returning to Mauritius in August 2023.

In the future, I will definitely be hosting workaway travelers in Mauritius :) !!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can offer skills in the following areas :

- Cooking, I love to cook (can be a little spicy sometimes ;) )
- I'm great with children. I have worked as a nanny while I was a student in France. I was also a Chief Scout for 5 years where I was responsible of 21 little scout boys aged between 7 to 12 years old. We did camping, walks in nature, games and volunteering together.
- Taking care of animals. I love animals and have 3 dogs myself. I am willing to work with every animal.
- I am a very clean/tidy so any general housework.
- I enjoy gardening and am handy with a paintbrush.
- I can help with language practice if you are interested in learning English, French or Mauritian creole. I am fluent in all three. I am trying to learn german currently.

In the past, I have worked as a barmaid, a Community Manager, a Nanny, an associate in a law firm... so any skills in those area.
