Hello / Bonjour!
My name is Estelle, I'm the French one and I am currently traveling with my partner Tony who is American.
After being apart from each others due to Covid-19, we are now reunited and very excited to travel across Australia and eventually Asia.

You are probably wondering, how did these two met? Well, it's the kind of story we like to talk about when we meet new people as it is the kind of story you only see in movies.
But to make it short, we met in 2015 and we started traveling the world together in 2017. Our passions and mutual craziness drive us to amazing adventures. We both are very passionate about discovering new places, meeting new people and exploring the great outdoors. Hiking and camping are our things.

We already got the wonderful opportunity to travel through New Zealand 4 years ago where we got to do two workaways. We kept wonderful memories of these experiences. We believe that traveling is also about helping others and creating connections.
Creating a positive impact is our main motivation, either it is by helping someone, animals and our beloved Mother Nature.

We are now ready to start this adventure again in Australia!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are pretty good at these:

We got to do two workaway experiences and one housesitting gig in Australia. We stayed for a month at the beginning of our adventure in Brisbane and helped around the house and built a chicken mansion for 7 chickens. During our second one we participated in a yoga retreat in exchange of 5 hours of work around the property.

During our previous workaways in New Zealand we helped maintain a historic property: cleaning, welcoming B&B guests, cooking, landscaping the grounds, remodeling an annex house and entertaining and training a bunch of cute puppies. For our second experience in New Zealand we mostly took care of two energetic twin toddlers and I (Estelle) helped them practice basic French. We also maintained their Airbnb rooms and did general handiwork.

We also worked in a kiwi orchard (pruning) for a month.

We are quick learners, not afraid to get our hands dirty and are always open to new experiences.

Autres infos...

We will always welcome our hosts to join us in a game of Monopoly Deal, Yahtzee, Backpacker, Catan, and most other board games. But be warned, this is our sole source of entertainment in the van, so we have built skills.
We also love hiking, kayaking, camping, wildlife watching, basically anything outdoorsy.
