Always happy to have adventure buddies. Water activities (SUP, kayak, snorkel, learning to surf) are top of list these days, but always love a trek into the wild.

Description

I love new faces, places and experiences - especially those which bring me into contact with open-hearted seekers living life consciously and intentionally and joyfully. Any opportunity to share ideas, gifts, creativity, and presence in a mutually beneficial exchange is desired and welcome.

I first WWOOF’d many moons ago in New Zealand whilst cycling around the country and found it such a wonderful way to connect to the land and its people. Later in life I enjoyed Workaway/WWOOF/HelpX exchanges across the Hawaiian Islands. Now years later, I am in exploration mode once again and open to what beauty awaits.

Spent much of my adult life in private practice as a bodyworker (massage therapy then Rolfing/Structural Integration). More recently I trained in sound healing and am excited to present this next offering in service to raising the vibration of all. Clean food, fresh air, salt water and sun rays are my medicine. As is connection with light beings. I'm an explorer by nature - stepped on all 7 continents (worked a season in Antarctica) by the time I was 35 - and am forever curious.

I also have an extensive background in professional administrative and operational support work (titles have included executive assistant, project specialist, student affairs coordinator). Love photography and writing and combining the two. Years of experience nannying the young as well as caretaking the elderly. And always happy to roll up my sleeves, get my hands dirty, and sweat it out (worked for a landscaping company for a season and have done a little of everything in my past work trades).

I am most content in the warmth, gazing at or playing in the sea. At this stage, I prefer quiet (unless we are talking about the sounds of nature) and peaceful environments, though enjoy live music and festive gatherings too.

Important to note: I need access to gluten-free food (which I'm happy to prepare myself). If this is inconvenient in the event of shared meals, I totally understand, but this is not a good fit in that case.
