Description
Hey there! We are Michel and Lisa, a Swiss couple exploring other parts of the world. We enjoy being in nature for as much time as possible. Usually we spend our free time in the mountains for rock climbing, paragliding (Lisa), photographing(Michel), mountaineering, kayaking and hiking in the summer and snowboarding and skiing in the winter. Independent of the season and its respective temperature, we camp outdoors. Places that are only accessible by foot and really remote have special charm. Untouched nature is so beautiful and we enjoy every second we can spend in it. Also we have some (more and less) experience in sailing, surfing and diving that we would love to deepen. Being at and in the ocean is amazing, something we never get to do when in Switzerland.

What else you might want to know...
... we both quit our jobs to travel open end. We don't have any idea how long we'll be gone and where it might end.
... Traveling to us includes getting to know people and cultures on a deeper level than just visiting a place for 2 nights, we want to really be somewhere and if somehow possible, give something back to the place we can be at.
... We're looking forward to share, to help, to learn, to have fun, to cook and laugh a lot! We believe that what makes the best of a trip are actually the people we meet and what we can learn from them.

Lisa was great on the boat. Sometimes it is isn't easy being on a boat but she handled it well even when we had a complete power failure while sailing at night. I gave her a torch and she sailed by compass while i went below to sort out the problem. She was only a beginner sailor and admitted afterward that she was scared but from what I saw i… read more

I got on Peter's boat this May, after he had just spent some months with repairing and working on the boat. I arrived with amazing timing and we left soon after I got there and I stayed on the boat for a litte less than two months - two of the best months in my life! I did not know how long I would want to stay originally, but I was sad to leave… read more when it was time..

We did a lot of cool things together and I saw so many beautiful places.. We went for snorkelling and spearfishing every day - so you really need to LOVE being in the water and diving if you come here. We went cavediving, saw sharks, dolphins, rays, turtles, and sooo many different fishes.. Peter knows a lot about the area and the sea and can teach you so many things! I shot my first fish with his help, I also learned a lot about sailing and could practice quite a bit, a dream come true for me. We climbed ship wrecks, explored completely uninhabited islands, went looking for crocodiles and octopus in the middle of the night, had lots and lots of wonderful barbecues on the beach, enjoyed coconuts into the sunset on the boat, played chess, fed sharks from the back of the boat, got soaking wet in the storms, watched lightning from the boat and the storms all around us, were very remote and had lots of fun.

Nevertheless, it is important for me to mention that if you go there you need to be prepared to be filmed all the time and you should not be embarrassed in front of the camera. I am not going to lie, sometimes this can be a little annoying (to me at least). But in turn you end up with lots and lots of beautiful memories of your trip. Video editing was okay.. Obviously, sometimes it can be hard to work inside whilst you are in paradise surrounded by beautiful islands and lots of interesting wildlife and fish..s It was a nice thing to learn (I was not experienced previously) and not a bad job. Peter is a very reasonable person and we would also just enjoy a day when the weather was beautiful and do more work on a rainy day.

Peter and I got along really well. Although I initially thought we would be 3 people in total, it turned out to be just as good if not better just like this. I felt like we really got along well, did a lot of things together but could also leave each other some space if needed. And this ist important, a boat can get a tight space :)

So in total: an absolutely amazing experience that I would not want to miss out on! If you get a chance to be on the boat, love to be very remote in the middle of the ocean and nature, don’t mind to be out of reception for most of the time, like to eat lots of fish and basic food and spend your time in paradise… Do It!! Thank you Peter that I could spend this time on the boat!
