Hello !

My name is Enni and I am a joyful and adventurous 24-year-old architecture student from Finland. I love people and I live life with an open heart and good vibes! My friends call my personality as sunny and I feel like my superpower is making other people feel uplifted and welcomed. I'm most definitely a natural host and thrive in customer service environments. I have work experience in the hospitality and outdoor field so I would be a great addition to a hostel or a small hotel looking for a friendly and hard working hire.

I'm looking for an awesome summer job somewhere in the Alps. I've visited them a couple of times and I just fell in love with the nature there. We don't have big mountains in Finland so the unreal landscapes in the alps just took my breath away! Nature is really important to me and is a place for me to recharge and feel inspired!

I'm a strong believer in the saying "everything happens for a reason", even the hardships in life are there to teach you something and to make you stronger! I hope to find a great WorkAway experience where I get to learn new things and languages. Maybe in the end of summer I'll say "this definitely happened for a reason!"

I'm new to WorkAway website but I've travelled to 20 countries in Europe and have seen many different cultures and ways of living. I think that has given me an open mind to different types of people and I love getting new friends around the world! One of my most memorable travels has either been a two-week long solo travel in Scotland when I was nineteen or Interrailing for 3 weeks across Eastern Europe with friends. I've stayed in many accommodations along the way, and have gotten an idea how you could make travellers stay better with good energy and helpful attitude! An amazing hostel or hotel experience can make your whole trip unforgettable!

I love living an active lifestyle and enjoy hiking, yoga and last winter I picked up snowboarding as a new hobby! I'm also a creative spirit and enjoy drawing and painting.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked as a shift manager in Lähteelä Marina where I managed daily operations of the marina, café and restaurant for both local and international guests. The job required great adaptability when problems rose since it was located in a rural place and I was the person in charge of the shift. I handled reservations and assisted with guest inquiries. I also supervised staff and trained new employees. The job taught me great teamwork skills and gave me leadership experience!

I'm a third year architecture university student in Tampere Finland. My studies have taught me to be hardworking and have given me great creative thinking skills. Because of that I'm quite good at problem solving.

My native language is finnish and I speak english fluently. I also understand and can have conversations in swedish. In university I have taken japanese classes and have understanding of the basics. I'm very motivated in learning a new language while working and since I've already learned a few I think I can pick up quite quickly!

I've also worked in a café in Helsinki where I learned to work efficiently in a team environment. I also learned that I love to provide great customer service and make people feel welcomed!

I love all types of animals! I always wanted a dog when I grew up but instead got two hamsters.. wasn't mad about it at all though! My dad loves birds and he has thought me how to recognize different species. I can also do a great job at mimicking the sound of a pigeon!
